Leadership and Committees
The Steering Committee sets policies for the Group on Institutional Planning and manages the group's affairs. GIP members may join one of the three GIP subcommittees on facilities planning and space management; strategic planning and management; or data driven academic medical centers work group.

The GIP membership is comprised of a diverse group of over 500 leaders responsible for all aspects of institutional planning. GIP members must be appointed by his or her medical school dean or teaching hospital CEO. Learn more about GIP membership.
